GENERAL TERMS

Beauty By Serene is a Sole Trader business providing makeup, eyelash, and eyebrow services.
 

By scheduling an appointment, the client is voluntarily entering into a legally binding contract whereby the conditions of service are upheld by both parties.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SERVICE 

​

Beauty By Serene reserves the right to refuse service to clients exhibiting maltreatment, no-show appointments, and failure to comply with these policies. 

​

We run by a strict schedule and expect clients to respect our time as we respect theirs. Clients later than 10 minutes will be considered a no-show, their deposit will be forfeited, and they will be charged the full price of the booked service. This policy is not negotiable under any circumstances. 

​

If a client fails to attend their appointment without cancelling or notifying Beauty by Serene (a "no-show"), up to two times, they will no longer be permitted to book services in the future.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY 

​

All tools, brushes, and products are appropriately sterilised between clients, and strict hygiene practices are adhered to. Beauty By Serene will not be held liable for any consequential, incidental, or indirect damages, including allergic reactions, that may arise during or after the service. Clients are responsible for informing us of any allergies, sensitivities, or treatments that could compromise the service prior to the appointment.

FEES AND PAYMENTS 

​

All appointments require a booking deposit to secure their place. Deposit amounts vary depending on the service and are displayed clearly at time of booking. 

​

Deposits are non-transferrable, and non-refundable within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. 

​

The remaining balance for services is due at the time of appointment, via cash or card (incurring a surcharge). Direct deposits will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Beauty By Serene strictly does not offer discounts, refunds, or payment plans. 

​

CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY 

​

24-48 Hours Prior to Appointment - Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment within this time frame will result in your deposit being forfeited, and a new deposit will be required upon booking a new appointment. There are no exceptions.

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Appointment - Cancelling or rescheduling within 24 hours will result in your deposit being forfeited, your appointment being surrendered, and the full cost of the service being charged. There are no exceptions.

Late Arrival - If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, this will be considered a no-show. This results in your deposit being forfeited, your appointment being surrendered, and the full cost of the service being charged. There are no exceptions.

If a client has outstanding service fees due to a no-show or a late cancellation or rescheduling, they will not be permitted to re-book until the owed amount is settled. There are no exceptions.

Note: All cancellation and rescheduling fees and forfeited payments apply due to negligence, change of mind, intent to book again (reschedule), event cancellation and sickness. There are no exceptions.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Clients are required to: 

​

Arrive on time to their scheduled appointment with clean skin. 

​

Notify Beauty By Serene of any allergies, sensitivities, or treatments that may affect the service. 

​

Treat the appointment as a professional service, and refrain from eating or vaping during the session. 

​

Kindly, refrain from bringing any additional people with you to your appointment. 

​

Communicate any dissatisfaction with the service directly to Serene during the appointment.
